March Monday 29 1926

"Blue Monday" because I didnt know enough to come home early and get more sleep. Quite a time teasing Roscoe about Aileen on her birthday.

Tuesday 30

Drove Roscoe up home at night. Mother wanted me to stay all night as I was tired but I was glad I didn't as by morning we were having a real ice storm.

Wednesday 31

March certainly went out like a lion with a terrible ice storm doing millions of dollars of damage Used "King" on milk route and got home at two o'clock soaked to the hide. Supposed to go to see Jean but weather was too bad.

April Thursday 1 1926 Weather still bad. Put sleighs under milk box and used the bay team to peddle milk with. Came home again with a pair of wet knees due to rain.

Friday 2

Another nice April rain made peddling rather unpleasant even if my team did go fine.

Saturday 3

"King and Queen" ran down Whitbreads hill themselves when I left them parked at the top. They sure felt fine and plastered me with slush coming home.
