December Friday 24 1926

Had a busy day selling extra cream and milk for Christmas and received two Xmas boxes on milk route. At night Tom, Jimmie, Roscoe, and I did some Christmas shopping when we drove "Dollie" to town. Home about twelve o'clock.

Saturday 25

First Xmas parcel I opened contained a dandy sweater and a snap of Jean from Jean. Home from town at 11.30. Roscoe helped me wash up in the dairy and we drove the truck up home for dinner. Had a queer feed and came back early to milk then went back up again for Supper. There were 26 of us for tea and we had a great time. Some wonderful dances with Jean. Took nurses to car on our way home. "Santa Claus" was very good to me.

Sunday 26

A very quiet morning in Paris. After I had the bottles washed in afternoon I drove up to Jeans, helped her milk, and had a feed of oysters afterwards. Finished the best Christmas I ever had with my head snuggled up in Jeans lap in front of the fire place. Eleanor and Melville came home with me.
