Monday October 2nd

Dad drove Roy down to the station first thing this morning. I had my breakfast with Roy beofre goinfot the cows and milked them. Frank and I went out after hisckory nts but there were not many down and the wind was cold so we came on and shelled some of the chestnuts they got Saturday and daddy brought them over this mrning. Daddy shovelled some ditches and things and then hitched up the team and He, Frank and I went over to Blakie's and got some oats and the fanning mill.
