Wednesday 24th.. Washed We finished carrots topping & E.M. drawing in them, ma & I pitching them back then Sarah came & we finished. E.M. drawing mangols I throwing them back. Edith Ingledew here over night so I was there alone throwing them back. Maria made cake for {?} birthday she put my ring in it. Edith got it.

Thursday 25th.. finished picking grapes then Sarah wrote to pa while I threw back mangols then we both went to help Joe at potatoes out at pits till dinner Annie did not teach in morning
