April 9th. Thursday

Lemonade set arrived at noon to-day. Rained hard in the afternoon. I wrote a number of advertisements for the Community sale and after tea Mrs. Leitch called to discuss them & get them. Mr. Graham called to see my flowers. Charles went to Owen Sound on the late train and Dorothy slept in his bed and we went to bed early and read.

April 20th. Friday.

Beautiful spring day. Sat out on the verandah for an hour. 1st time I have been out since October. Charles got home on afternoon train.
