Sept. 24th. Monday
Beautiful day. Finished reading "Desolate Splendour" by Michael Sadleir & Studied Some. Went for a walk around our block. Tired so called at Beattie's - out. Rested in the verandah and called on Ted at Manse. Wrote to Dorothy. Mr. Millhouse here to see Charles on business.
Sept. 25th. Tuesday.
Beautiful day. Studied a little. Etta Wood & her son Morris & Daisy Williams came up from Hanover. Morris went on to O. Sound to see his pals in the 147th Battalion. Daisy and Etta stayed for dinner. Had a fine old chat. Morris called for them again at half past three. Then Mother called. I walked down to McDonald's Corner with her and as they had just put tarvine on the street we went along to church corner & Coming back I went into Manse to reat & to see Ted. After tea Bud called to see if his grandmother had left her glasses. Florence
