20 A Temperance Meeting in the Hall 2 P.M. to appoint officers to look after the interest of the Temperance cause.
21 I was not in church I have no bonnet
22 I am making a shirt for Murdy. he is going to try an examination at the McGill College Murdy & I went to Lancaster for his clothes. paid Sandy $.9.84 (45 paid for Three) for the cloth & trimming
23 Murdy went to Montreal today I sent yarn to weavers by Uncle Donald A reading room started in the villa in the East end of the old house by the Goodyr house. 6 till 9 pM. Slack, {Rafer?}
24 Rained all night every thing wet we killed a ewe Monday
26 very fine day Pa is putting gravell in the cellar.
27 Murdy came home last night. Bird Ran & Marion, were spending the evening at J.A. It has rained all day.
28 Cloudy day. I went to church with my old hat. heard a good sermon
