| 13 | Pa & the boys went early to work on the creek and took their dinner with them. About ten it began to drizzle & rain about noon it rained heavily, and the folks came hom. it rained all the afternoon. There was a meeting of the young people in the Hall to try and get up a concert for Hallow'een. | |
| 14 | The forenoon was pretty dry but about noon there was Thunder & lightening and the rain came down in torrensts. And rained until about three when it ceased And turned quite warm. I went to the Hall but there was no Prayer Meeting plenty of people but no leader. Had a letter from Murdy & Bell is sick. | |
