June 1886

1 Tuesday. rained Were sinking fence posts
2 Pa began to move the Kitchen of the Kintail house and has Prue hewing the sills
3 The woman's meeting was at Donald Ferguson's R.R. I was not thair.
4 Sent a letter to Uncle Sandy. Cleaveland President of the U.S. was married this week 2nd to a Miss Folsom 22 years of age. his age 49. years. Jimie was harrowing potatoes. I sowed cucumbers, pumpkins & squash today churned about 8 lbs butter. Mrs Leitch Flora Stewart had a son yesterday. The sole came off Marion's boot

13 Rained this morning. Rev Mr Calder of Lancaster preached. no prayer Meeting. McGillivray in Montreal.
14 Rained all day. Far went to Gore.
