1 Wednesday. fine cool day. got a straw hat at Mothe Roume's 50
2 Woman's Meeting at the Manse not many present 9 or 10 we had hoar frost last night, and it is cold this evening. Mrs Landry Came to the Kitchen $.3.00 pr mon
3 Fine day. cold yet. Gordon is painting the Kintail Clock got beef 45 cts
4 Sandy finished today he got 1.50 pr day
5 Sundy fine day pretty warm
6 Pa went to The Springs this morning. I got 30 lb sugar at Dan's 3 yds stuff for overalls 2.00 75
7 Pa mowing oats. got at Dan's 1 lb tea 45 44 lb salts yesterday & today were very hot Uncle Donald had sheep killed by dogs Saturday night, I preserved plums yesterday 20 lbs. Your text here...
8 I did not go to prayer Meeting this evening. I got very hoarse about sundown Mr McGillavrey is to go off tomorrow for Toronto & Collingwood.
9 Thursday, rained some in forenoon, boys digging ditch below the garden. the Mill came to The Ma Guchy farm this evening Peter Fraser's Mill worked by two Roynon's boys
10 Thrashed some oats & 3 bush wheer There is some kind of a show in the village tonight. Mrs Grant & Mary were in for a while this evening.
11 The O.L.C. {Ontario Lacrosse Club} had quite a disappointment todat The L.C. {Lacrosse Club} of Huntington were to have come to play a friendly game, but could not and did not telegraph until 10 Oclock this forenoon The boys did not get through thrashing.
