February 1887

1 Tuesday. The Banquet for the High School schoolars is tonight. I am trying to mak a little washing. It is a very fine day
2 Stormy. This morning. The Banquet last night was a success
16 Two weeks since I wrote Sandy & his wife left here. They came on Saturday from Cornwall they went to Montreal on Wednesday . Tuesday 8th was very stormy rainy then it frose and was very slippery. Aunt Elizabeth fell on the street of Montreal amd cut her nose the Dr had to put a stitch in it. Kate fell on the St and sprained her wrist and broke a little bone I got on the 11th 1/2 lb B. tin 30 cts. pepper ginger mustard nutmeg spices 6 cts 1 lb currants 10 1 lamp chimney 10

I got Marion booties 1. Brid botts 1.25. 1 pair rubbers 55 = Got 1 pair for Ran 2.69 Jimie was at Alexa yesterday. at the nomination. Granny Batherne Gore. died on Sunday, buried yesterday, at St Raphe Had a letter from Far yesterday

I was at prayer Meeting tonight - had a nice meeting. Byron McDonell is very poorly.		 50 26 2.80
17 9.30 P.M. I was at a political meeting. Clendenning, from Montreal. Tiffiney. And a Frenchman were the speakers This has been a fine day.
18. Tullamore has a bull. a party This is our fast day.
