10 {cont.} mostly all Warren St is flooded. Mr Watson's are on an Island.
11 Wind cold thawing some Jimi and Ran are drawing wood, water fallen a good deal
12 Cold wind. Pelow tapped 80 trees today
13 Fine day. Pelow came for the sup. dishes, he got 137 spiles, 38 big pails 75 small ones two pots 2 Gink pails. 1 milk can. Mrs John A. & Mrs Tailor spent the afternoon with us. Jimi drawing wood
14 St the wood today again. had Pelows & Hart each drew three levels. Sent a letter to Murdy and $.16. 16
16. Sold 2 doz eggs got 2 lb rice 10. black syrup.
17. Pelow brought about 8 gall. of thin syrup last night This has been a fine day We had two very fine sermons today from McGillivray.
18. I baked. The syrup today it lost a good deal Jimi got his boots half soled. our leather cost 35
19. Got about 3 gall. syrup. Got 1 lb tea at Willie not much travelling today, some wheel came ages on the road, Some persons tore the railing off the village bridge last night
20. Not many in Prayer Meeting tonight
23. Fine day sold two dozen eggs 2 1/2. to the nuns. got 35 cts
24 Gave Ran 10 cts for Church, gave 10. myself. Got Coal oil yesterday 13 cts. 20 13
25 Roads are very bad. they have trouble in the schools since Robertson went off
30. We got home the buggy from the Shop fixing it cost 1.75 Jimie went to Lancaster got his watch fixed took calf skin to tanners, Murdy got his boots fixed cost 45 cts. Jimie cts, 30. 2.00
