| 1 | Very fine bright day. pretty frosty. had a letter from Jimie, and one from Murdy. Jimie went last night for Cape Breton. The Women's F.M. {Foreign Mission} met today at D.D.'s 19 members present. had a pleasant afternoon and revived our old society W.F.M. {Women's Foreign Mission} we will meet on the 15th at D. McKesic president Mrs D.D. vicepres. Mrs A.C. Secretary Lilly. Corresponding Secre. Mrs McLaurin. Treasurer Liss McG. my offering today 25 Prayer Meeting tonight. McGillivray officiated and there will be a meeting nextt Monday to reorganize The Temperance Society. | |

| 8 | Far & I went to Lancaster this afternoon. I bought at Sandy's 3 yds flannel 35 = 105 = 1 doz thread 40 = 3/4 yd velvet 55=2.00 bought at D. McCrimman's 6 1/2 yds cloth 60 = 3.90 = 1 1/2 yd F. satin 2 yds cambric = 12 = 24. 1 yd Chnois 15 = 1/2 yd sileca 10. 1 spool linen thread 10 = 1 1/2 doz buttons 6 No snow yet. The roads are very good and hard fine for now the Committe of Temperance met here this evening to arrange {?} our first meeting. | 4.35 46 16 7.- |
