November, 1928.

24 Saturday. Cold. Snowflurries. Walter took a load of grist to Alma this afternoon.

25 Sunday. Very cold & wintry. Walter, Ella & Vernon went to church & Sunday school this afternoon and over to Ezra Maurer's for tea. Colsons and Vic. and Glenn were also there.

26 Monday. Cold. Snowflurries. Ella feels sick today. Walter butchered a pig at Otto Miller's today. Vernon helped Earl cut wood this afternoon

27 Tuesday. Cloudy, dismal day. The men did the housework and worked around the barn today.

28 Wednesday. Damp drizzly day. Ella Miller came up and baked some pies and took the washing home. Other callers - Dr. Jim. McQuibban & Noah Miller.

29 Thursday. Lovely sunny day. Vernon helped Earl again today.

30 Friday. Rained practically all day. Emerson Stickney died today.
