February, 1929

13 Wednesday. Cloudy and cold. Walter went to Lloyd Dobberthein's sale this afternoon. Vernon drew out a few loads of manure. Callers were - Noah Miller, Joe Hall, Wm. Howlette and Norman Drimie.

14 Thursday. Cold. Snowflurries Walter took a load of chopping to Alma this morning and he and Vernon went to Manasseh Martin's sale on the 8th. of Peel this afternoon. Ella spent the afternoon with Mrs. Sam Horst.

15 Friday. Fair and cold. Walter and Ella were at Louis Miller's all day and they butchered 4 pigs. Vernon stayed home and did the chores and had one caller - Llewelyn Trask.

16 Saturday. Fair and cold. Walter went to Creekbank this morning and to Elmira this afternoon. Vernon has a sore throat and spent the day in the house.
