June, 1929

1 Saturday. Clear and very cool. The men both went to Elmira this morning. Vernon went down with Irvin Schneider. This p.m. they were plowing. Ella planted iris roots, cucumbers, beans and musk melons.

2 Sunday. Very cool and windy We went to church and Sunday school this morning and Vernon went home with Elmer Miller and spent the day. Walter and Ella took Aunt Elizabeth down to Grandpa Krauter's. Tonight we went over to the Floradale Mennonite church where Rev. C. F. Derstine spoke.

3 Monday. Windy and warmer cool Ella did the washing and helped to plant cut the potatoes. The men were plowing. Walter went down to his Dad's tonight. Callers - Enoch Schneider and Peter Roos.
