March 1920

THURSDAY 4

Robt and Brock doing chores and getting ready to kill hens, killing beef. Beautiful soft mild day, little rain at night hoo fallow went up the road with {illegible} plough.

FRIDAY 5

Robt and Brock choring and cutting down the beef. Terrible stormy. Robt cutting up beef and Brock carrying at of and putting it on the back seranda to freeze. Still stormy.

SATURDAY 6

Robt and Brock choring, Brock went down soron for flour fare. Robt shoveling the steps and walk. Jacking away the beef and sifting ashes. Brock chopping. Beautiful bright forenoon but turned stormy afternoon.
