April 1920

MONDAY 12

Da done chores and Brock down for a load of corn in morning. Then took Wiley down in afternoon to get her shod. Da choring and threw ratten turnip out of root house. Mosty soft snow falling all day. Dull. Colder to ward evening.

TUESDAY 13

Done chores and chopping in forenoon. Brock at Sam Bensons pale in afternoon. Da at bush getting a reach for waggon. Dull and cold wind.

WEDNESDAY 14

Done chores and drawing out manure and cleaning pens. Brock helping put down linoleum in afternoon. Dull and cool. Soft snow at night. Mr. Henry Hilborn quite sick.
