WEDNESDAY 21
Done chores, cleaning pens and moved miller off straw in forenoon. Fixing fence along side road in afternoon. Brock to lawn at night for wine. Heavy rain all forenoon. Cleared in afternoon and rather bright and windy.
THURSDAY 22
Done chores and working at fence along the sideroad. Finished it in afternoon. Harry Booth here for dinner. Rather dull and shawery at times. Heavy rain at night with thunder and lightening.
FRIDAY 23
Done chores. Brock chopping in morning and Da to bush looking for turkey nest. Brock fixing horse stall in afternoon and Da to town and bought horse from J.N. Dale $130. and brought her home. Both down at Jack at night. He had a sick horse. Brockstayed until 4 a.m. Raining in forenoon and heavy rain in afternoon.
