THURSDAY 27

Da ridging up for mangel in forenoon. Brock went to Rothsay for the seed and sowed them in forenoon. Cutting and planting potatoes in afternoon. Da took chip out of woodhouse. Fine and warm.

FRIDAY 28

Brock ralling the turnip ground in morning and ralling corner field in afternoon. Da ploughing corn ground. Beautiful day, a little cooler.

SATURDAY 29

Brock finished rolling corner field and went to Eleuins for barn for drill to sow the corn. Then working on corn ground, and Da finished ploughing it. Then rolling and sowing corn in afternoon. Da rolled wheat and cut lawn. We to town at night. Fine and warm.
