THURSDAY 8

Robt working on root ground all day, Brock gathering up fence bottoms fore and afternoon. Leu here for truck got five dollars worth. Olive was up to Roy afternoon to a meeting of the Woman {illegible} Moorefield Institute srislting. Fine and dry.

WEDNESDAY 9

Robt working on the reat ground all forenoon. Brock finished setting past, and went down to the river and fixed up a pen to wash sheep, forenoon. Both washing sheep afternoon. Water was a little cool. A student here for tea selling War Vreeas. Dry and warm. Brock and Olive to town at night.

THURSDAY 10

Robt cultivating, harrowing, and rolling the turnip ground all day. Brock gone to Guelph with Harry. Hade and Ross, they left at a quarter past eight a.m. Terrible hot day. 90 in the shadu at noon.
