July 1920

FRIDAY 23

Very dull in morning. Brock went to Dan maynes for oat and Da cutting on other place. Came on rain about 10:30. Da scuffing corn in afternoon. Brock brought up rake from low barns and choring. Betty and I to town for nail in p.m., and I took her up to Harry. Very heavy rain round six o' clock.

SATURDAY 24

Choring and put young cattle, in back bush in forenoon. Picking berries in afternoon. Showers in forenoon but fine afternoon. Della brought Betty down after dinner. Brock and I to town at night, much cooler.

SUNDAY 25

Roy, Harry, Eleuins and Brock. Gerald, Betty and I motored to Chatsurworth. Cloudy at times and cool.
