July 1920

THURSDAY 29

Finished the haying on other place at noon. Choring and setting up engine and chopper in p.m. Brock to town at night. Finished Fine morning but quite a heavy rain in afternoon.

FRIDAY 30

Da cutting strip of hay in corner field in forenoon, Brock chopping and raking second time on other place. Da scuffing mangelo and corn in afternoon and Brock finished raking. Drew in two loads of raking after supper. Mother and Betty at lunch Richd for dinner tea. Fine day, warm, a little shower in evening.

SATURDAY 31

Da cutting back by fine fence. Brock choring and raking hay in corner field. Drew it in after dinner. 5 loads. We to town at night. Dull and windy in morning but turned out a bright breezy afternoon.
