August 1920

TUESDAY 10

Finished turnip and started to hoe corn. Da to lawn in forenoon to get scuffer feet lifed. Fine and warm.

WEDNESDAY 11

Scuffing and hoeing corn. I met Lillian on evening train. brock and I to town at night. Calm and very hot.

THURSDAY 12

Hoeing corn. Finished about three then scuffed grey stone turnip and started to hoe then. Brock at ball game. Drayton v.s. Drew in afternoon. Very calm and hot.
