August 1920

FRIDAY 13

Finished hoeing grey stone turnip by noon. Brock to lawn for cement and wine in morning. Da cutting weed on road in afternoon and Brock got a load of gravel. Brock over to Hoshel in evening. Sultry and a little sprinkle in afternoon. Storms going around. Calm.

SATURDAY 14

Da cutting weeds along fence next bush and along the open ditch. Brock, Hoshel and Tony putting on roofing on one half of law driving house. I to town in afternoon for a rall of roofing. A slight breeze at times. Hot and storms going round a little mizzle about eight o'clock.

SUNDAY 15

Brock to church at night. Fine and warm.
