August 1920

THURSDAY 19

Finished cutting back of barn and started on piece next ditch. Cutting all day. Da thacking up. I took Lillian to morning train. Fine and warm quite breezy.

FRIDAY 20

Finished cutting piece next ditch by noon. Both shocking up in afternoon. I to lawn for Miss Dungan in morning. Mr. Henderson and Janet here for tea over to Powell and Buckhan with them after supper. Fine and warm.

SATURDAY 21

Cutting 7 ac. I barley this sid of windmill on other place. Just finished at four when heavy rain came. Raining all evening. Miss Duncan and I to cemetry in afternoon to town at night.
