TUESDAY 2

Choring all day, piled up mangelo in road. House, dug out drain at end of pig pen and put in a large tile. Setting up stakes in sod next Jack. Very rainy, dirly day, cooler at night.

WEDNESDAY 3

Started to plough in sod field next Jack. I to town in afternoon. Dull and scudo of rain in morning cloudy in afternoon.

THURSDAY 4

Started at turnip tapping and drawing in. Dull but dry.
