THURSDAY, 7
Brock done chores. Ed. Steelbridge here all day. Jack helped do chores also Ross. Nod here too and they took of the storm windows. Brock and Melville to town in morning. Mr. Herdran here at noon with Carter. Uncle sam here in morning.
Fine day but not quite so bright. Uncle Will came tonight.
FRIDAY, 8
Jack done chores. Betty, Mrs Thompson, Uncle Jim, Nellie and LIlliah, Mr. Hunter, Miss Vera came to attend funeral. Da buried at 2.30 P.m by Roetata. {Trade?} Willows, Frank Page, Jao. Ms. Ewing, Mr. Yager, Watt Burrows & Chad. Walter pad - bearers. A terrible rainy day.
SATURDAY, 9
Brock done chores. Cecil Walker helped him. Neville and he to town in afternoon. Jack & Rachel went to Uncle Sam for dinner. Then went home by night train. Cloudy and dull but brightened into warm night.
