THURSDAY, 14

Done chores and ploughing on {8 ae?} below maple tree. I to town in morning. Rather dull but warm. looking like rainy. Quite a drizzle about five o' clock.

FRIDAY, 15

Done chores and Brock took a few bags chop and went to Brampton! Brought home 100lbs sugar & 100lbs soap. Came from Dunson Bros. Brock and Jack splitting wood on other place in aft. Very foggy and rather minty in afternoon. Uncle Riehd and Aunt Emma called this aft. Also Rev.Lake. olive painting floor above kitchen.

SATURDAY, 16

Done chores. Then went back to back {bush?} to cut {stablet?} wood but came in rain about eleven so they came up choring in afternoon. Terrible day of sleet and rain, A heavy cooling of ice on everything.
