Sunday, 1

Brest and Betty went to church at night. Betty stayed at Leyton's. Heavy clouds and very cold wind.

Monday, 2

Done chores. Busck and Jack ploughing on the back of the other place. A very calm dull day.

Tuesday, 3

Jack done chores. He chopping in the afternoon. Repairing fence between back yard and cattle yard. Brock ploughing the 2 headlands on root ground. He pruning and ploughing garden patch. Dehorned young cattle. Bathed the dog. Fine and rather warm.

Wednesday, 4

Jack done chores. Brock cultivating little patches on this place. Then cultivating and discing on root ground. Jack's wife in field. Reset bush on root ground. Fine but a little cloudy and cool.
