THURSDAY, 5

Done chores. Cultivated, harrowed and sowed half the field next Jack's line fence. Other side of orchard Fine and quite warm at times. Sowing for the first.

FRIDAY, 6

Brock harrowed & sowed most grounds and cultivated mangel ground on thy side of ditch, also sowed little patch on other place. Jack disced half of sod next Jack's garden patch. Warmed and quite bright at times. Few drops of rain in afternoon.

SATURDAY, 7

Done chores. Jack and Brock ploughing in forenoon on other place. Jack cultivated half of sod next Jack's in afternoon. Brock ploughed the headlands and planted a few potatoes. Jack to the town at night. Fine & bright - breezy.
