Thursday, 23

Finished ploughing root ground and dicing & harrowing it. Drove to Gilmore for strawberries in sug. To town in morning. Miss woods here in evening also Modge & Ach. Very warm but a little cooler in afternoon.


Friday, 24

Working root grounf. Brock to {illegible} at night. Mr. and Mrs. Will Richards and Mrs. Shultz-Bey (Selva) called in evening. Very hot day.


Saturday, 25


Working root ground and sowed half the turnips in afternoon. Went to town for some chop that was left. Down in forenoon for crate of barries. Very hot day. A sprinkle in the afternoon.
