July 1921

THURSDAY 28

Cut the aac. after ride of ditch raking, and drawing in after dinner. Earl here in afternoon. Finsihed thise ride and ditch 5 loads. May Gardeu here all day. Mother look her to come about town lorne dawn to lodge at night. Rain through the night but quick breeze during day.

FRIDAY 29

Cut hold the 14ac. I {illegible} below little orchard in afternoon. Brock stuffed potatoes and making 6 ge other side of ditch. Lorne and drew in 5 laods in afternoon. The barn getting very full. Warm and calm. Feelign like rain.

SATURDAY 30

Lorne leaving hay and helping cut grass 14ac. in afternoon. Brock cutting all afternoon, drew in rest of hay on ditch, and raked it and got 1 load after supper and of 14ac below little orchard. Brock and lorne to lawn at night, very heavy storms went round. Heavy {illegible}and bugh wind but not much rain.
