SUNDAY 31

Brock to church at night. Mr. and Ms. Shawpau here in evening.Rather dull and quite cool. Done called to mauike if we had any word of Jack.

MONDAY 1

Raked half of 14ac below little orchard and drew in 9 loads. Dull morning but fine breezy afternoon. Looking like rain in evening.

TUESDAY 2

Finished haying. Raked and drew in the rent of 14ac field. Jack Walker here helping. I of to Roy in evening. Fine but looking a little like rain.

WEDNESDAY 3

Brock scuffing {illegible} in afternoon. Rorrne to town with Chap. Brock got and bender and cut little patch at road on other place and took a lawn round to barely but it too green. Home shacking. Brock to lawn at night. Fine and warm.
