In football Midlmay won from Port Elgin. In the relay race Chesley first Port Elgin 2nd. Jimmie Donald Ethel Oliver LoyEllie Uncle Sandy Oliver Alex Arthur & Edgar were in to-day. Alex is going to stay till Saturday.

Wednesday July 2. Fine & hot. Temp. 61°.

Thursday July 3. Fine & hot. Temp. 61°. We went to the river at the Gillivray for a picnic in the afternoon.

Friday July 4. Fine till about 10:30 a.m. and then thunderstorms with heavy rain till about 3 P. M. Temp. 71° Alex and I went down to the lake and went in for a swim in the morning.

Saturday July 5. Fine & very hot with thunderstorm in the evening. Temp. 69°. Alex got a ride home with Uncle Alfred and Edgar. Noble came home.

Sunday July 6. Fine and cold. Temp. 52°.

Monday July 7. Fine & cool. Temp. 51°.
