Thursday Aug. 28. Dull and wet Temp. 50 Papa finished fixing the cow's stall.

Friday Aug. 29. Dull and cooler with rain in afternoon. Temp. 56°. Jessie and Alice, and Uncle Andrew and Aunt Minnie were in.

Saturday Aug. 30. Dull in forenoon fine in Afternoon. Temp. 56°. Mamma is not very well. Arthur, Edgar and Olive came in. Edgar and I climbed the stand pipe. Noble came home.

Sunday Aug.31. Fine & warm.

Monday Sept 1 Dull in morning and fine and hot in afternoon. Temp. 50°. Noble went to Scott's. We went to Uncle Alfred's.

Tuesday Sept. 2 Fine and hot. Temp. 66°. School started. I got a third back seat. Oliver same in to-night.

Wednesday Sept. 3 Dull with light showers. Temp. 67°. Daddy Dinar is dead.
