Mrs. Wm. Robertson (need Jenie Gowanlock) were here. Noble and I went to a hockey match..between the H.S. girls and the Curlers. Score 3 -3. John and Bessie were in at it. I saw my first crow.

Saturday March 14. Fine & thawing Temp. 29°.

Sunday March 15 Mild and thawing Temp. 36°. We went to the Methodist Anniversary Services.

Monday March 16 Fine and warm Temp. 34°. Snow all gone. I finished my two-hundred crows this morning.

Tuesday March 17. Fine and warm with rain and snow in the afternoon. Temp. 27°. In Caesar Oliver got 36 and I got 55. J B. Cotrill has started putting up his mill. We had the H.S. football for the first time this season.

Wednesday March 18. Dull and cold. Temp. 25°. The saw mill fairly started.
