Saturday May 2. Fine and warm. John Geddes was in today. I took a ride to {Sturton's?} bridge back to MacGillivray's bush, up the side road to the sixth. down the sixth to the diagonal, along the diagonal to the fourth, up the fourth to the Goderich, along the Goderich to North Bruce, back to Harry Bakers and back to town. Aunt Jeannie came in on the train.

Monday May 4. Fine and hot. Temp. 48°
Tuesday May 5 Fine and warm. In lit Oliver and I both got 67.
Tuesday Wednesday May 6. Fine and warm with rain in evening. Temp. 42°
Wednesday Thursday May 7. Dull morning but fine and cold warm in afternoon. Arthur was in to-night.
