morning. Fine in afternoon but thunderstorm at night. Noble came home. Uncle Sandy had a raising and put up the frame of his driving shed. Thunderstorm in night.

Friday Aug. 21. Fine and hot. Creek is flooded. Noble and I were cutting wood in the bush.

Saturday Aug. 22. Fine and warm, dull at night. Papa, Olive and Noble were in Port Elgin.

Sunday Aug. 23. Fine and windy.

Monday Aug. 24. Fine and cool. Noble and I went over to our work.

Tuesday Aug. 25. Fine and warm.

Wednesday Aug. 26. Fine and warm. We finished at Uncle Andrew's to-day. In the afternoon we were at J. Schwartz's

Thursday Aug. 27. Fine and warm. Uncle Andrew and I were at Cobean's.

Friday Aug. 28. Fine and hot. We moved into town. Noble came home.
