M. 1st. Attended the Council meeting. Robert after the thrashing machine.
T. 2nd. Working at C.F.S.'s stable. Robert thrashing Timothy seed.
W. 3rd. Father and Robert at Craigs thrashing I was preparing our barn. Mr. Hugo bought seven of Mr. Delfs sheep so that Robert is now rid of the sheep which he had on shares.
Th. 4th. Robert and Father thrashing half day at Craigs . This afternoon we commenced to thrash peas with James Daltons machine. Levi Eby and his team, Iden Goble, Richard Hayden, Moffat Craig, Robert Craig, John Davidson, James Stuart Vater 1/4 of a day.
F. 5th. At the peas again. Levi Eby, James Craig, Robert Craig, Moffat Craig, Richard Hayden, John Davidson, Vater, James Stuart, 1/4 of a day. Finished thrashing peas. cleaned up peas 120 Bushls. PickNick yesterday. 2 B. 16 lbs of oats of C F S. Mr Goble Killed my sheep.
S. 6 Thrashed Barley, wheat and part of the Oats. Levi Eby, and team William Martin and Hugoes team Noah Clemens and team. Robert Craig, Moffat Craig, James Stuart, John Davidson, James Salter, John Goble. Richard Hayden, Vater, whole day. James Dalton charged Ten Dolrs. for his time. Four Bus. Thirty lbs. of Oats of C F S.
M. 7th. Robert and me cleaning up the barn, Father loging for Richard Hayden.
T. 8th. Cleaned up barley 40 Bushls.
W. 9th. Went to mill with a grist. Took a bag full of spring wheat for Mutter weight 2 B. 24 lbs. at One Dolr. fifteen five cents per Bushl. I owe William Goble 7 cents for a letter. this letter contained my receipt from Toronto for money paid The Trust and loan company.
Th. 10th. Cleaning up wheat and hauling it to market. Sold our fall wheat to Ruby & Hilker for 1401/2 c. per Bushl.
