a balance due Mr Goble of Six Dolrs. and two cent paid him which makes all square to this date. Robert made out a bill against Mr A Delf for Keep of sheep from the time their agreement expired to the third of October, for the sum of Two Dolrs. Twenty five cents. As there were three lambs to divide between Delf and Robert valued each at One Dolr. fifty cents each and as Robert has two of them he would owe Mr Delf Seventy five cents this would leave a balance of One Dolr and fifty cents due Robert, thus Mr Goble paid him so they are square to this date.

F. 19th. Kaufman a heifer to bull. Commenced to gathr corn but it came on wet.

S. 20th. Hanging up tobacco, husking corn etc.

M. 22nd. Settled with Edward Gordon Paid him Twenty three Dolrs. Thirty three cents, Settled with Robert MacLachlin his A/C against me for land side for plow $2.50. strap etc. for sleigh .80 c.= $3.30 my A/C against him Veal 28 c. Potatoes $1.50 which left a balance due him of $1.52 which I paid him. Posted a letter to Messenger office containing two Dolrs. as subscription. Posted a letter to J H Carter & Co Boston containing four Dolrs. for the Magazine for the past and present year. also a letter to Globe office containing One Dolr. as subscription for Six months. Settled with John MacKintosh his A/C against me Five Dolrs. and Ten cents and against Robert Sixty seven cts. = $5.77 my A/C against him. Veal 84 c. Cash $1.50 = 2.34 leaving a differencee in his favour of $3.43 cts which I paid him. Yesterday Tom Cummings heifer the second time.

T. 23rd. Gathering corn and husking.

W. 24th. Husking corn etc. Robert paid Mr J. D. David the note he held against him for Forty Dolrs with Int. at 12 per cent per annum = 44.80 cts. Mr David paid for three cows to bull. This evening I bought of Samuel Bricker Esq. a Rifle for Six Dolrs. to be paid
