T. 15th. Commenced chopping wood for Gordon. Father and Fred getting turnips into the root house.

W. 16th. Chopping.

Th. 17th. Chopping.

F. 18th. Chopping.

S. 19th. Chopping.

M. 21st. Killed old Lamb Mr. Goble half day butchering. Sold his hide to F Stafford for four Dolrs. fifty Stafford paid fifty cents for bulling. Took a grist of five bags and a piece to mill, Bought of Gordon one bar of soap.

T. 22nd. Cut up the beef, and carried the tacht? home.

W. 23rd. Fixed ash barrel. Went to mill with five bags of oats and brought the whole of the grist home.

Th. 24th. Chopping wood.

F. 25th. Chopping wood.

S. 26th. Hauled 1 cord of wood to old Mr Guires, five foot wood at $1.50 per cord, Kaufman a heifer to bull again.

M. 28th. Chopping half day.

T. 29th. Storming.

W. 30th. Started to mill with six bags of barley for pigs and broke my sleigh. borrowed Christian's and went in the afternoon.

Th. 31st. Chopping and making road in the Gore.
