1886 June 1 Ad went to Sand Bay to plow & so came home he could do nothing the ground is dry & hard too Ad went to the annual at Lindenhurst of the council he said that there was a great many there 3 Ad plowed for potatos below the house & hug pan with a cow corn was last year for Ad cultivated rolled & furrowed out & Jonney drag the potatos & planted the potatos side note the ground is hard & dry 5 Ad plowed Wm A Cornetts garden Jonney & Philo scattered some of the hog dung over the ground 6 Revd Mr Millard preached at night 7 Ad fixed a floor in the Woodshed for the stove & cleaned up Adressed & took it to Escott 8 Ad went to Escott for the Grist dry time 9 Ad & Jonney took the yearling Mullie heffer & the Mullie cow & colt to Sand Bay 10 Ad went to raisin of J Bradys Barn it a very large 1 22 feet posts 11 Ad is fixing at home side note Revd Mr Green the Bible Society agent had at meeting house he stoped here 12 Ad cultivated Wm A Cornetts Garden 13 Revd Mr Millard preached this I went to it on my stilts 14 Ad & Jonney worked on the roads with the team 15 do do do do 6 day work 16 Ad worked at home Jonney hold in the garden 17 Ad is fixing the waggon box & others fixing about here 18 Ad went to Gananoque for a load of brick for to fix his chimnies they are out of sorts what came here from Gananoque last night 19 Ad took what to the outlet with the buggy & went to his Island & fished till night side note great loss A {illegible} boat on the lake 20 the Revd Mr Millard preached here at night 21 Ad worked at home in his garden Jonney hold some of our potatos in the garden James McMullen & Wm A Cornett cleaned the church Philo drew water for them with Kate & the milk buggy fine day
