July 1 Ad plowed through the potatos Johnny went to Gananoque to see the Dominion celebration

3 Ad & Johnny & Philo went to Sand Bay this afternoon & took the 2-yearling there & left them there 3 Professor Ferguson preached there this evening
4 Ad went to Delta this morning he took the wall with him Bruces son went with to bring the horses he intends to bring Watts cow here what is going to the NW 2 survey Johnny is hoeing
5 Ad got home this afternoon he brought Watts cow with him Watt & tends to go tomorrow Johnny is hoeing
6 Ad sold the merry cow to Wm McConnell for $30 we riged up the mower this morning he mowed the orchard this afternoon Johnny is hoeing in the little field side note find shower this morning
7 Philo raked the orchard Ad mowed the little East of the Barn & there to the North field the hay is drying very fast Johnny is holding in the Little field & cock the hay in the orchard side note Johnny is very awkward at caulking he has no idea of how to put it up Ad drew in the hay that is in the Orchard & that of the Little field very drying time Philo rate

9 Philo wrecked what Ad cut in the North field they had 3 loads put all in the new Barn
10 Professor Ferguson preached this morning
11 Ad began to cut the the field north of the house he cut all day it is light down where the fall wheat was fine day
12 Ad fixed the table in the fair ground for the Orangeman dinner we are to provide the members & adherence is getting it up they all proved a share
13 they drew in 4 loads of hay this forenoon Philo rake that yesterday Ad went to Wallaces to cut his hay in the afternoon very warm the thermometer is 120 in the Sun & 100 in the shade
14 Ad is working at Wallaces he drew in 2 loads he had to go & plow for the railroad for the contractors there head team not come & have a lot of men they making a second track warm day
15 Ad is mowing at Wallaces & plowing for the railroad
16 Ad is working at Wallaces hay some rain
17 Mr Dodds a student preach here this evening very rain to day & that night
