it would go blind. After tea Mrs. McBride brought the washing back. It has been very hot to-day and looks rainy. Fred's calf got out two or three times to-dsay and tried to our patience sorely at it's own cost. Mully aloso got out but went ineasier.

Tuesday May 6th

~We finishe dup the field to-day. Dad. has to sow a little by hand around the water holes and he may harrow the whole field over/. I disked all day. & Dad. harrowed and rilled. I tood =k seed out in the waggon to-day this mornig but we had to clean up another sack at noon to finish with. I brought back rails in the wagon both at noon & to-night. I cut lawn before tea toll Sick came & inticed me to play catch with him. Very muvh cooler to-day woith wuite a breeze tis after noon
