Mrs. McBride was here to-day. This after noon we were agreeably surprised to have a visit from Ed & Marion. Ed. came home on Saturday as he has left his job in Beautford he is going back to the Falls for the summer. To-night Dick and I printed pictures and had a fairly good luck. Huby sent word over by Ed. that Dad's stone boat had saved his life on account of easing his injued foot. Dick says he only has one on, one steel & one leather one. It froze last night again but has been a nice day with cold breeze. Dick bought me a saddle & bridle to-day for six dollars he got them from Bobbie Lang and says they are nearlynew.
