Tuesday August 25th

We hooked up Belle to the buggy this and I called for Huby about eight o'clock. We drove up tp Bickler's again. We stopped in at Andrew Sm=mith's but he was not at home Bickler's wasn't at home either but the man was and we went ovver to see Bickler as he was on another farm he has bought just south of Vittoria.We had a line drive and got home just before about one, Dad. tried to plow tis morning but with Joe and Harry but had a terrible tome as they acted very mean so he waas glad enough to have Belle back this afternoon. Frank spent the after noo morning fixing the rest of the pig fence.

After dinner Frank and I started to turn out all the oats in the field but got about half done when Mr. Morgan came to see the English Wallnuts trees and we didn't get any more done that day, but Frank & I hauled up a load of rails with Huny and Belle as dad. quit early.
