I got up at daylight this morning and had most of the chored done before nreakfast. I was putting the harness on the horses after breakfast when Jim Banister came over and he helped me with the manure till noon. Hunert came over just before dinner and he and I worked all the afternoon. Harry Harding came over about 3 O'Clock abd he stayed out twith us till we quit work. Hattie went down town and Win came hom,e with her they all stayed to tea and after tea drove Win home and waited at Allan's cornner until the boys came along. Then Harry drove up with me and held Joe while I went in and said goodbye to Miss battersby, she leaves on Saturday for Brantford. It has been cold all day but much warmer than yesterday. Dick went ot h=the dance at night and I don't know what time he got home.
