Sunday October 17th
Frank rode hos wheel down to Sunday school and chirch this morning and Dick, Enah & I drove down, it was Cgiuldrewn's day in church dso the service wasn't very long We sat in the back seat and were very amused all through preoceeding's at the actiuons of a man across the isle who was apparently in a sleepy state of drunkenness He had a little girl with him who was just a slively as he waa dull - and they mad ean ingteresting pair. When we got home we gound Dad had the meat roasted as he had been pestered all morning with visitors. Val leany came over and got old Dandy and took him home. Dick, Frank and I went out to the hickory nut tree and Dick climbe dit and sjhook all the nuts he could off and Frank and I gathetred up two basketfulls ofshells and all. Frank spent the after noon picking up the rest andangd got a bag fullo of husks nuts. Marj. and I went for a drive down the Lake Shore and I cam ehome at half past five and helped Frank do chores as Dad & Enah & the baby stayed down to tea at Ay=unty's they went down to see Aunt Ida When Frabk & I ghad our tea we drove Joe down and left her for dad to drive home.
