my clothes picked out for the carnival and got fixed up. I got an old evening doss coat and a vest that Dad. wore at the Jacobite show and Aunty Alice and Enah fixed some lace around the throat of it. Miss Phipps and Aunty Alice came over this after noon. Miss Phipps didn't stay long and wanted Dad to read a poem on Saturday night as they are giving the soldiers another feed it being the anniversary of Pairdilurg.
